A Taste of San Miguel

Palm Springs Sister Cities is excited to welcome a delegation from our Sister City, San Miguel de Allende, from November 7th - 10th, 2024, coinciding with the Palm Springs Food & Wine Festival. This visit promises a vibrant celebration of culture and cuisine, featuring a lineup of engaging activities.

A highlight of the visit is the Palm Springs Passport, a cocktail exchange program in which local restaurants and bars will serve cocktails curated by top mixologists from San Miguel. For each cocktail purchased, one dollar will be donated to support initiatives of Palm Springs Sister Cities, allowing patrons to enjoy unique drinks while contributing to meaningful cultural programs. Additionally, education plays a significant role in this exchange. Fourth-grade students from Vista Del Monte Elementary in Palm Springs will engage in an art exchange with their counterparts at Newland School in San Miguel, fostering an appreciation for diverse artistic traditions among young learners.
