Michael's House Day

Michael's House outpatient treatment center houses a mural that depicts San Miguel de Allende, Palm Springs’ newest Sister City. In 2003, an artist by the name of Alejandro Olmo was commissioned by the building’s owner, Shaul Mizrahi, to create a full relief mural of San Miguel de Allende.  It was named  Calle de San Miguel and is a stunning piece of art that illustrates San Miguel.  In celebration of the 20th anniversary of its installation, a new commission has been approved, which will add to the original existing mural.  The mural is to be called Casa de Miguel. A public unveiling of the mural will occur on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 10 a.m. The City of Palm Springs has declared November 10, 2023 as Michael’s House Day, and Mayor Grace Elena Garner will issue the proclamation.
